The Arabic calligraphy reads: “كن في الدنيا كأنك غريب او عابر سبيل” which loosely translates as "Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer". In the words of Abdulrahman, this line expresses the transience of worldly life as opposed to the infinite afterlife.
As with any artwork created by hand, there may be brushstrokes, pen marks, pencil marks or any other blemishes present in the piece which may or may not be visible in the photos.
Included is a black frame made of solid card, which protects the piece and enables it to be easily hung and displayed wherever you would like it to be seen.
